Mediation is a dispute resolution process in which a neutral professional assists the parties in negotiating a mutually agreeable solution to their conflict or dispute. In divorce, mediation usually results in agreements that are

  • more quickly achieved
  • tailored to the unique needs of both parties
  • more satisfying to the parties
  • less costly
  • less stressful for children
  • more likely to be followed by both parties

Dr. Wehl is a Clinical Psychologist who has been helping children and couples resolve their difficulties since 1983. In addition to divorce mediation services, Dr. Wehl has provided child custody and visitation evaluations for the past 15 years. Mediation is an efficient alternative to litigation for reaching agreement on parenting, property, and financial issues central to divorce.
