Divorce Mediation

Mediation is a dispute resolution process in which a neutral professional assists the parties in negotiating a mutually agreeable solution to their conflict or dispute. In divorce, mediation usually results in agreements that are

  • more quickly achieved
  • tailored to the unique needs of both parties
  • more satisfying to the parties
  • less costly
  • less stressful for children
  • more likely to be followed by both parties

Dr. Chris Wehl

Dr. Wehl is a Clinical Psychologist who has been helping children and couples resolve their difficulties since 1983. In addition to divorce mediation services, Dr. Wehl has provided the Court with child custody evaluations, parent-time evaluations, parenting coordination services and special master services for couples from high-conflict divorces.  Mediation is an efficient and often rewarding alternative to litigation for reaching agreement on parenting, property, and financial issues central to divorce.

Dr. Wehl's office is located on the 3rd floor of the Washington Federal Building on the Northeast corner of 200 South and 500 East in Salt Lake City. Parking is available in the building's 2-level parking structure. Entry into the building after 6 p.m. should be made from the upper level of the parking structure.  If the building doors are locked, use the keypad at the door way to enter the code 12875 to gain entry.
